© Petra und Oliver Brand 2011 Noordwijk is known for its wonderful dunes and the long sand beach, reachable  in 3 minutes.   At the boulevard you will find a lot of beautiful beach cafe´s and restaurants.  We have also a cozy shopping street, where the shops are open 7 days a week  and of course a supermarket, where you can buy everything you need.  There are many activities to be undertaken. You could do long strand walks,  cycling through the dunes or make a trip to one of the many interesting places in  the surrounding area.  So you can reach in approximately 45 minutes Amsterdam or The Hague or you  visit one of the other interesting places like the Keukenhof, Zandvoort aan Zee,  the weekly market in Leiden or the Space EXPO.  Furthermore you will find an indoor swimming pool, bowling, miniature golf and a  theatre, where in summer every day a lot of films will be shown.
